Dear Horse Show Exhibitors and All Pet Lovers,
I know that many of you are planning to attend the Old Dominion Horse Show at the Deep Run Hunt Club this coming July, 2009’s USHJA Exhibitor’s Choice Award winner for Zone 3. Again we will all be riding to benefit Danny and Ron’s Rescue dogs. For those familiar with Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta’s rescue work little need be said about the great work they do at their own expense in rescuing and placing homeless pets in loving homes.

As an ASPCA awarded rescue Danny and Ron have placed close to 2000 dogs in just a few years. First recognized for their tireless work with the pets of Hurricane Katrina, they are currently working with authorities to bust dog fighting rings and puppy mills. They could really use our help at this time, as their vet bills frequently exceed $8000 per month in getting their orphans back to good health. We at Old Dominion have chosen to help them with the care for these special animals until they can be placed in loving homes.

Sponsorship will help with defraying our production costs and help us give a larger monetary donation to our needy canine companions. We also will be running a silent auction again this year with all proceeds going to Danny and Ron. Bidding was heated in 2009! We expect to have beach houses, trips and many incredible items up for bid. Please contact me if you may have an item or service that you would like to donate.
